Volta Ventures portfolio company Widget Brain was sold to Quinyx

Volta Ventures is a seed & early stage investor for internet & software companies in the Benelux, in which Alychlo has invested since several years.

Volta Ventures invested end 2019 in Widget Brain. Widget Brain was founded at the end of 2015 and offers specific AI services to forecast demand for labour and automatic scheduling of work shifts and rosters. Now the company was sold to Quinyx. Quinyx was founded in 2005 in Stockholm and offers traditional Work Force management software pivoting to a cloud-based solution. Quinyx has been using Widget Brain as a technology provider of AI planning for several clients.
